We grow our own trees from seed on plantations, so we don’t have far to go for harvesting. This is why we deliver the freshest Christmas tree possible!

Q. Why choose a Fraser fir for a Christmas tree?

A.
Fraser firs have soft needles and sturdy branches, making it easy to decorate, even with heavy heirloom ornaments. Fraser firs also have a wonderful fragrance that can fill any room with the scent of the holidays; and needle retention is unmatched by any other tree.

Q. Can I do anything to make my Christmas tree last longer?

A. Make a fresh cut of ¼ to ½ inch (wafer slice) off the trunk and put the tree immediately in water (no warmer than room temperature). Then don’t add anything to the water except more water when needed. There have been many studies done by professionals that show adding “stuff” (sugar, aspirin, vodka, etc.) to the water shortens the tree's indoor life. Think of your tree as fresh cut flowers and keep them away from heat, sun and blowing air, this will make your tree last longer.

Q. Is my real Christmas tree recyclable?

A.
Yes, a real Christmas tree is 100% biodegradable and can be recycled into mulch or used as structure for fish refuge and feeding areas. These are only a few ways real Christmas trees can be used after Christmas. While on the stump a Christmas tree plays host to wildlife like rabbits, quail, wild turkey, deer and song birds. Christmas trees absorb carbon dioxide and other gases while giving off oxygen. One acre of Christmas trees makes enough oxygen for 18 people a day; currently there are enough Christmas trees planted to supply 18 million people a day with oxygen. Christmas trees are constantly being replanted making them a renewable ecological resource.
